  "This was sold to me as a SOLAR heat and air conditioning unit with a price tag of $19,685, matching to the PENNY, a unit they claimed was solar. They wrote solar in MANY strategic locations, including on the proposal and the unit itself, when in fact, it is not. The proposal says one thing, the contract was different, despite the exact same price. They defrauded me. They have SEVERAL lawsuits against them right now. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

  In November 2014 I purchased solar panels from Advance Solar Construction LLC, Randy Barr, to get my electric bill to $0 (in writing).
  The Advance Solar installer arrived on a Friday in Feb. 2015 to drop off the panels and return on Monday to install. I told him he could drop them on the driveway or on the front lawn at the point of use. He said he was not installing them on the front of the house, east facing, as the schematics showed, but was installing them on the back of the house west facing, because its the hottest facing west. I agreed the back of the house gets the hottest in the summer.
  Problem #1 The panels were only cutting my electric bills in 1/2. I called a different Solar Company, told them why Advance Solar mounted on the west side versus the east side of my house and why. They told me they should have been mounted facing east, not west, because Florida gets late afternoon rain, and that the installer installed as he would for solar water heater or pool heater, and electric solar uses sun LIGHT, not HEAT, to generate electricity.
  After many, many phone calls, in 8/2015 Advance Solar company sent out a rep., Carl, with instructions to "fix the issues". Carl's research recommended they be relocated to my front yard facing South, free of charge. In 10/2015 they finished the relocation. Since the relocation, my electric bill has only been reduced 75%. After many phone calls to Advance Solar, finally in mid Dec. 2015 Carl said he would come out and test the panels. He never showed up, would not answer his phone or respond to my messages. I continued leaving him messages until 2/8/2016.
  Problem #2 Advance Solar Salesman, Randy Barr, set up 2 loans with Greensky Finance. I financed $12,000 over 12 years at $132 a month. I also had a 2nd loan with the same Finance company for $5100 that the Advance Solar Salesman said would be no payments or interest for 1 year, as I would be getting this amount back, in full, on my 2015 tax return as a tax credit and I had to pay it back no later than 4/8/16 with my tax return. I questioned the $5100 tax credit extensively, "I file short form", "I don't get back much of anything", "I am on a fixed pension", etc. (I was very concerned that I would get it ALL back before 4/8/16) Randy Barr told me "it didn't matter, it's not a tax deduction, it's a tax credit" I would get the full amount back in "my 2015 tax return"!
  On 2/8/2016 I went to my tax preparer. I was indeed due the $5100 tax credit, but I was told it is to be partially paid back in tax returns for 2015, 2016 and 2017. This means I will pay the $1800 Tax credit returned this year and greensky will take out of that the interest that accrued in the last year, $1008, because I did not pay it off, in full, in 12 months as mandated.
  Upon my return from the tax preparer I called Advance Solar and spoke with "Dave". This was my first and only conversation with Dave. I explained the problem with the tax rebate and the fact that his company promised a $0 electric bill and I had it in writing. He told me that Carl didn't work there anymore and that the salesman, Randy Barr had passed away. He said that I would not have a case in court because it would be my word against that of a dead man's. (this was the first and only mention of a lawsuit, and it came from Advance Solar) At the end of the conversation he said he would review the facts of why its not producing the electricity it was supposed to and a way to restructure the $5100 loan. Since 3/8/2016 I have called to talk to Dave every other day, he is either "on another line", "out of the office" or, lately, it goes to voice mail! My electric bill averaged $148 a month over 12 months without solar panels. With the solar panels it averages $69 a month + $132 a month 1st loan + $122 a month on the 2nd loan = $323 a month. So I was paying $148 without Solar and now I have to pay $323 with solar! Nobody would agree to this!
  Advance Solar Construction is a HUGE RIP OFF, they LIE to sell their product!!!!!!! There is much more, I dont have the space!
